Letters from Grace Kelly to John H. Stigers of Sunnyside, Washington, Feb. 1909.

This collection consists of 8 handwritten letters from Grace Kelly to her fianceĢ, John Stigers. The collection contains 7 black & white photographs that are unidentified but presumed to be Grace Kelly and her mother. These letters were found by the Archives Division of the Washington State Office of the Secretary of State in "some old, useless banking files." Apparently the letters had been in Stigers safety deposit box and were never claimed. The Archives Division gave them to the Washington State Library on 2 November 1981.
